On November 30, MEUSAC and the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA) jointly organised a Valorisation Event on the Erasmus+ Programme. The event sought to promote the opportunities available under the Erasmus+ Programme for 2018.

Representatives from both MEUSAC and EUPA delivered presentations on the main changes introduced in the 2018 Programme Guide, including the re-introduction of sector skills alliances, school partnerships and volunteering projects. Another presentation focused on the dos and don’ts of applying for Erasmus+ funds. As Malta’s Erasmus+ National Agency, EUPA gave its experience on how projects are awarded funding, while MEUSAC contributed its expertise on principles on how to draft a competitive project proposal.

To conclude the event, beneficiaries of Erasmus+ funds gave their experience of implementing projects. These beneficiaries included JEF Malta, which was assisted twice by MEUSAC to secure funding for Structured Dialogue projects, bringing students closer to decision-makers in the field of youth.
