In the coming months, Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta will be organising public discussions about a number of topics to contribute to the Europe-wide Conference on the Future of Europe.

The topic for the first discussion, to be held on September 16 between 17:00 and 18:30, will be the future of health in the European Union and participation will be online. The discussion will naturally depart from the lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic, with a future-looking approach, addressing the following themes: the health protection of citizens; the prevention, treatment and care of cross-border health threats; the digitalisation of health systems; the health systems and infrastructure for the future; the improvement of coordination at EU level when facing cross-border health threats.

The main aim of such discussions is to involve a wide range of stakeholders and the public in expressing their ideas about the direction they would like the European Union to take in the coming years.

For more information on the topic for discussion and to register and participate please visit the SEM website here. Proceedings will be in Maltese.
