EU funds can provide social partners with the opportunity to improve their capacity as organisations and enhance the skills of their members.  They also contribute to better social dialogue in the EU, including Malta.

On Thursday July 28, Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta (SEM) will organise a one-hour online session to provide information about available EU funding opportunities to a number of target groups, including social partners. The session will commence at 9am.

Some of the opportunities that will be discussed during this session will include training initiatives, cooperation projects, and projects intended to improve social dialogue. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions to clarify any issue or issues they may have.

Information will be provided on the scope and objectives of these funding opportunities, eligibility criteria and the funding mechanism of the particular programmes. Practical examples of success stories will also be included.

In addition to the information on relevant programmes, SEM’s role in assisting organisations to apply and implement EU funded projects will also be explained.

For more information about this information session or if you would like to register your interest, kindly contact SEM on info.sem@gov.mt or 2200 3300.
