The European Social Fund (ESF) is the EU’s main programme for supporting jobs, helping people get better jobs and ensuring fairer job opportunities for all EU citizens. The Programme thus focuses on employment, social inclusion, education, and capacitybuilding.  

 

The ESF programme finances Malta’s Operational Programme II for 2014 – 2020, entitled: Investing in human capital to create more opportunities and promote the wellbeing of societyCurrently, there is an open call for applications under this programmewhich call will contribute to the following Priority Axes (PA): PA 2  Towards a more inclusive society, and PA4 – Building the institutional administrative capacity.  

 

PA2 aims to support measures which will enable each individual to realise his/her potential and enable vulnerable persons to make a success of their future.  

 

PA4 aims to support measures which will enable stakeholders to have the necessary expertise and knowledge to actively participate in the socio-economic dialogue leading to an enhanced and more effective policy-making process.  

 

The maximum grant amount for this call per project is of €100,000 – this excludes the 20% co-financing share to be financed by the beneficiary
