Are you considering becoming a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, physiotherapist, or exploring another role in healthcare? If you are interested and want to learn more, you should visit the Health Careers Fair which is being organised on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November at St Benedict College in Kirkop.

The event is aimed at prospective students or even those who have a keen interest to know more about the healthcare sector. In either case this will be an invaluable opportunity to talk to various experts who will be sharing their experience on what it entails to be working in this field.

More than 20 stands, each showcasing the respective professions of the healthcare sector – ranging from nursing, midwives, allied healthcare, doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dentists, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians etc – will be spread around the venue. Visitors can enquire directly with the respective professionals to learn more about their job, the entry requirements to start a career or simply listen to their experiences. Moreover, there will be a fully-fledged ambulance on display, a health promotion stand and as well as an emergency tent setup to showcase the equipment in place in cases of an emergency.

This could be your gateway to start a career in the healthcare sector or even for parents who wish to learn more about the prospective openings for their children.

The event is being organised by the People Management Division, Ministry for Health and Active Ageing and admission is free of charge.

The fair will be open between 9am and 4pm on the 9th and 9am and 1pm on the 10th. Free parking is available on the premises.
