The discussion will naturally depart from the lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic, with a future-looking approach, addressing the following themes: the health protection of citizens; the prevention, treatment and care of cross-border health threats; the digitalisation of health systems; the health systems and infrastructure for the future; the improvement of coordination at EU level when facing cross-border health threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main aim of such discussions is to involve a wide range of stakeholders and the public in expressing their ideas about the direction they would like the European Union to take in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information on the topic for discussion and to register and participate please visit the SEM website <a href=\"https:\/\/sem.gov.mt\/events-and-activities\/diskussjoni-unjoni-ewropea-tas-sahha\/\">here<\/a>.
