The event is the third in a series of four debates, being held every Wednesday during November with the objective to discuss topical EU issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last decade, the labour market in the EU has changed bringing about a mixed bag of positive and negative effects on workers and employers. The debate will focus on these developments in European society, also in the context of the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Free movement of workers, new forms of jobs, the Work-Life Directive including the right to disconnect, equal pay for equal work, gender pay gap, female representation in management positions and remote working are among the themes which will be on the agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last of these events will be held on November 25 between 2pm and 3pm and will deal with the EU\u2019s social agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can follow the debate from the MEUSAC Facebook page or by registering to take part and express your view on the subject. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the theme of an online public discussion organised by MEUSAC and Europe Direct Valletta on November 18, 2020 between 2pm and 3pm.
