The EU adopts\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/factsheets\/en\/sheet\/56\/health-and-safety-at-work\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">legislation<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0in the field of\u202f<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/factsheets\/en\/sheet\/56\/health-and-safety-at-work\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">health and safety at work<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u202fto complement and support the activities of Member States.
