The European Social Fund (ESF) is\u00a0<\/span>the EU\u2019s main<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>p<\/span>rogramme\u00a0<\/span>for<\/span>\u00a0supporting jobs, helping people get better jobs and ensuring fairer job opportunities for all EU citizens.<\/span>\u00a0The Programme thus focuses on employment, social inclusion, education, and capacity<\/span>–<\/span>building.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>he ESF programme finances<\/span>\u00a0Malta\u2019s Operational Programme I<\/span>I<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for 2014 \u2013 2020,\u00a0<\/span>entitled:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Investing in human capital to create more opportunities and promote the wellbeing of society<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span>Currently, there\u00a0<\/span>is an<\/span>\u00a0open call for applications under th<\/span>is programme<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>which call will contribute to the following Priority Ax<\/span>e<\/span>s (PA):<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>PA<\/span>\u00a02<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>–<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Towards a more inclusive society<\/span><\/i>, and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>PA4 –<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Building the institutional administrative capacity<\/span><\/i>.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PA2 aims to support measures which will enable\u00a0each individual\u00a0to realise his\/her potential and enable vulnerable persons to make a success of their future.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PA4 aims to support measures which will enable stakeholders to have the necessary expertise and knowledge to actively participate in the socio-economic dialogue leading to an enhanced and more effective policy-making process.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>he maximum grant amount for this call per project is of \u20ac100,000<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 this excludes the 20% co-financing share to be financed by the beneficiary<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline to submit a pro<\/span>posal<\/span>\u00a0is 30th September 2020.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
