MEUSAC assists local organisations to tap<\/span>\u00a0into<\/span>\u00a0EU funds. It helps entities develop their proje<\/span>ct<\/span>\u00a0proposals<\/span>\u00a0and complete the relevant application form.\u00a0<\/span>This service is still\u00a0<\/span>ongoing<\/span>\u00a0despite the current situation with COVID-19.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though the coronavirus pandemic has created problems in many sectors,\u00a0<\/span>EU funds under the different<\/span>\u00a0funding programmes\u00a0<\/span>are still available and<\/span>\u00a0local entities\u00a0<\/span>can continue to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>apply for such fund<\/span>ing opportunities<\/span>\u00a0accordingly.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deadlines of various funding calls have been extended in order to provide more time for prospective applicants to submit their proposals. Moreover, for certain EU funding programmes the method for the submission of the relevant application\u00a0<\/span>form\u00a0<\/span>has been\u00a0<\/span>modified<\/span>\u00a0so that\u00a0<\/span>submission can be made online\u00a0<\/span>rather than<\/span>\u00a0by hand.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MEUSAC also offers\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>apacity\u00a0<\/span>B<\/span>uilding sessions in topics related to EU funding. Due to the current situation, the first two\u00a0<\/span>Capacity Building sessions for this year\u00a0<\/span>will be held online on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May<\/span>\u00a02020<\/span>. The topic of these sessions will be Project Development and the target groups will\u00a0<\/span>include<\/span>\u00a0non-government<\/span>al<\/span>\u00a0organisations, local councils and other public entities.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
