One of the functions of MEUSAC is to assist local entities to apply for EU-funded projects. In this regard, MEUSAC assists\u00a0<\/span>organisations<\/span>\u00a0by providing them with information on the different EU funding\u00a0<\/span>programmes<\/span>\u00a0and by helping them to develop their project idea and write the relevant application form.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As of 2018, MEUSAC has also started to help entities better understand the process involved in project development and writing through capacity building sessions\u00a0<\/span>organised<\/span>\u00a0for different target groups, namely NGOs, local councils, schools and Government entities. Participants of these sessions gain insight into how to develop a competitive project proposal and tips on how to write a successful application form.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ever since their conception in 2018, these capacity building sessions have been highly successful. Throughout 2019 alone, a total of 5 capacity building sessions were\u00a0<\/span>organised<\/span>\u00a0with a total of a bit more than 140 attendees.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These capacity building sessions will continue in 2020, with the first sessions on project development to be held on 4<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0April for NGOs and schools and on 8<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0April for local councils and Government entities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
