As part of its European Social Funded Project \u2018Engage\u2019, MEUSAC organised a series of free training sessions for NGOs and\u00a0<\/span>trade unions<\/span>\u00a0to enhance their communication skills, their participation in social and civil dialogue and to access EU funding opportunities so that they can put into practice the EU\u2019s priorities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The sessions, three in all, were held in Malta and\u00a0<\/span>Gozo<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Those present got tips on how to go about a project idea, from the project\u2019s initial stages to implementation. Stakeholders were also given ideas on how best to promote their organisation, emphasising the use of multiple social media channels and on the importance of having a strategy in place beforehand.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MEUSAC assists\u00a0<\/span>a number of<\/span>\u00a0organisations for free to tap into and apply for EU funds. In fact, MEUSAC has helped organisations garner 55 million euros in EU funds over the last 11 years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
