The role of MEUSAC funding is a diverse one which incorporates\u00a0<\/span>a number of<\/span>\u00a0different elements. One of the key functions of the funding unit within MEUSAC is that\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0provid<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0information to interested parties and individuals on the different funding programmes and opportunities<\/span>\u00a0available<\/span>. In addition to this it\u00a0<\/span>also\u00a0<\/span>provides assistance to<\/span>\u00a0NGO<\/span>s and Local Councils\u00a0<\/span>i<\/span>n designing projects and also in the drawing up of application forms.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard MEUSAC has been highly successful<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0w<\/span>h<\/span>ere u<\/span>p until now organisations assisted by MEUSAC have been able to submit 419 applications and have been awarded \u20ac49,083,717 in funding. It has assisted local councils in submitting 156 successful applications while NGO\u2019s and Government entities have been able to submit 219 and 44 successful applications respectively.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the years MEUSAC has assisted organisations in appl<\/span>ying for a diverse range of different funding programmes both of a centralised and decentralised nature. This can be seen in the recent success whi<\/span>ch MEUSAC had in assisting the Malta Police Force and Malta C<\/span>ustoms departments in applying for funding through the\u00a0<\/span>Hercule<\/span>\u00a0III programme.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
