If they do not increase their efforts to control their platforms, I would go as far as to say that they will be complicit in the loss of innocent lives. They have to be proactive in taking down extremist content and removing those who are abusing thei<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">r platforms. Without a doubt, this is a good thing, if your interests centre\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">around<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0music and films. But I do not think so. I think that those who manage\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">YouTube<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Facebook<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0can moderate the content that flows through their platforms. However, I do not think that youths of a tender age are accessing dark websites. They will still turn\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">YouTube<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">for\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">information.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:180,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In spite of the clear evidence that these<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0enormous platforms are the key platforms being used to supress cultures with the aim of spreading hate, we are not seeing any tangible change.
