There is too much emphasis today on the brand of clothes you are wearing, what car you are driving and what you have in general. Some people look at others that live in luxury and think that they are living a happier life than theirs. This is the impression that society embeds in our heads that leads to many of us spending their lives chasing money rather than happiness. Avarice – this is the main flaw of the society we live in.

There are people who spend their lives spending money they do not have because things bring them satisfaction. I am not saying that it is bad to have nice things, but if having them is your priority, it may be time to reassess. Our society places more value on how much money we have and materialism than on achievements and people themselves. Our achievements are assessed according to what we have.
