{"id":1975,"date":"2018-10-26T16:05:23","date_gmt":"2018-10-26T14:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/?post_type=article&#038;p=1975"},"modified":"2018-10-26T16:06:06","modified_gmt":"2018-10-26T14:06:06","slug":"klabb-tal-isport-malti-jikseb-fondi-minn-erasmus-sport-ghal-shubija-kollaborattiva-zghira-ma-klabbs-barranin","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/en\/article\/klabb-tal-isport-malti-jikseb-fondi-minn-erasmus-sport-ghal-shubija-kollaborattiva-zghira-ma-klabbs-barranin\/","title":{"rendered":"Local sport club garners Erasmus+ Sport funds for small collaborative partnership with foreign clubs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1971\" src=\"http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"708\" srcset=\"http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3.jpg 1200w, http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-300x177.jpg 300w, http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-768x453.jpg 768w, http:\/\/weekly.uhm.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-1024x604.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.meusac.gov.mt\/\">MEUSAC<\/a>\u00a0has assisted a local sport organisation in successfully submitting an application to garner EU funds for a small-collaborative partnership project, under Erasmus+ Sport, titled: \u2018Team Up for Sport\u2019 (TU4S).<span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>M<i>\u0121<\/i>arr\u00a0Youth Nursery in collaboration with associated international partners\u00a0Nogometni\u00a0Klub MB Tabor and KS\u00a0Legionovia\u00a0were awarded just under \u20ac60,000, for a transnational project involving Malta, Slovenia and Poland.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The TU4S project seeks to ensure gender equality in and through sport, specifically in football, through discussing the lack of female participation in football; discussing the lack of female uptake in volunteering\/careers related to sport; and discussing the discrimination, sexism and stereotypes directed at female athletes, coaches and other staff members, still present in football; through the involvement of female youth athletes, coaches, parents and other relevant stakeholders.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are three activities planned in each participating country and are expected to be held over the course of three days. The activities will include workshops, conferences and a sports day.
