Everyone talks about change. Not only\u00a0small changes, but sudden and unexpected, quite drastic, changes which\u00a0people seem to want. How many of us are ready to make such changes? So are you.\u00a0You want to be that qualified person with a successful career living a comfortable life; you want to reach your goals and you want to be the centre of attention. There is nothing wrong with that. But to live in a community and expect it to help you grow personally without you giving anything back is\u00a0immature;\u00a0 such\u00a0an attitude keeps an individual from being part of society.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Churchill famously said:\u00a0<i>You make a living by what you get. You can always start giving back to the community from this moment.\u00a0This simply means learning the art of being accommodating and living a lifestyle that shows that you understand and appreciate the fact that while you may be comfortably off there are people who are struggling to overcome many challenges in their lives and, as a community, it should be our\u00a0responsibility\u00a0to help them.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Being\u00a0philanthropic\u00a0and\u00a0genuinely\u00a0caring for others and their personal development should be a lifestyle, especially in a small country like ours. It is important to note that philanthropy differs from charity, as charity focuses on eliminating suffering caused by social problems, while philanthropy focuses on the elimination of the social problems themselves.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are a number of reasons why it is important to give back to society and why philanthropy should be a way of life\u00a0\u2013 not for altruistic reasons, but because it is the moral obligation of every individual living in a society.
