MEUSAC<\/a>\u00a0has been awarded over \u20ac134,000 in EU funds to implement a project to strengthen social dialogue in Malta. The project, \u2018Engage: Enhancing Stakeholder Participation in Social Dialogue\u2019, is part-financed by the European Social Fund\u00a02014-2020\u00a0(ESF).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The funds MEUSAC has been awarded are aimed at\u00a0identifying the most effective engagement methodologies in order to provide a service which meets the needs of stakeholders; investing in Government\u2019s services by providing the necessary skills to the MEUSAC team on how stakeholder capacity may be enhanced;\u00a0and\u00a0enhancing the capacity of stakeholders through training and increased awareness on the processes, tools and opportunities for increased stakeholder participation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The project is expected to result in a number of qualitative and quantitative results which will ultimately lead towards the increase in the level of social dialogue in Malta and in the improvement of the services which Government provides to stakeholders both currently and in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ESF finances Malta\u2019s\u00a0Operational Programme II<\/a>\u00a0\u2018Investing in human capital to create more opportunities and promote the well-being of society\u2019 for the period 2014-2020. The total budget for Malta is\u00a0\u20ac132,366,810.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
